He had several people at his booth on Friday afternoon when I was there. Bought one of his books and he autographed it. Shook his hand and told him to keep up the good work.

Thinking about going to the NRAAM in Indy next year. I grew up in Indiana and sister and nephew in that area, would be fun family reunion.

p.s. I talked to one of the reps at the Aguila ammunition booth. Complained that I have a hard time finding the 12ga minishells in stock. She said that they hope availability improves this year because they will open a manufacturing plant in Conroe some time this year.

Question. I was only able to make it Friday & even at that only until 1pm.

The question is, does anyone know if Freedom Munitions ever made it there? I found their space but it wasn't set up & only had their big banner.

If they didn't, I have to wonder why they were not there.

Added note, was very happy to have met Hickok45 & Son, 22plinkster & Colion Noir!

Hope everyone enjoyed their time there, hope they return to Dallas again or better yet Fort Worth next time!!!

I was there on Saturday. They had a couple of little tablet kiosks setup to enter for a gun giveaway and a wire frame pillar with the 3 guns on it. Two people from company there. That was it. Well and the big banner.

I would add "Happy" to that description. Even after waiting in line for badges/memberships (I was working the membership desk), I didn't meet a single grumpy person. Everyone was happy to be there and I felt bad several times having to shoo a few happy, chatty codgers wanting to keep chatting while there was a line of people needing entrance badges waiting behind them.

I got to go Friday all day. This is when POTUS and VP were there (though I was in the exhibit halls only). Do you know what I noticed?

* Tens of millions of dollars worth of merchandise
* Thousands if not tens of thousands of armed NRA members in the exhibit halls
* Yet a very small police presence inside. I may have seen 10 or so including the uniformed Secret Service LEO's inside.

Do you know where they needed police? Outside - but not because of NRA members. We were also very clean. I hardly saw any trash on the floors anywhere in the Convention center.

The 2A community is not only one of the most law abiding, but one of the friendliest communities in the USA. I met all sorts of people, including many famous ones who took the time to talk to us common people. I saw genuine interest in these well known celebrities express their gratitude for our interest in the shooting sports and 2A support. I could not be more proud to be part of this community.
