Took one month to the day to receive my renwed LTC card recently if that helps.

My Fiance applied 4-21. Not a renewal, but a first time application. She got an email on 4-26 that they needed either her Birth Certificate or her Passport since she was born in Germany (Military brat). She submitted a copy of her passport on 4-28. We checked today and it still says pending background check. So I'd say there's a little bit of a delay for some reason. She's got a clean background, no court history, no DV issues, No child support issues. Should have been a pretty simple check, other than moving a lot as a kid for her mom's Air-force career she's lived here since she was 12.

She called today and was told the background checks are taking longer. She was told they have 60-180 days to finish the background check. And said basically no news is good news, just wait it out.
