For what it's worth, I'm using Remington Core-Lokt Pointed Soft-Points in 150 grains. Maybe next year I'll try the 'new' Hornady LeveRevolution rounds, but these seem to do the trick. One shot, one kill.

BTW I have been shooting LeverEvolution ammo in my 30-30's for a few years now, and some guns like it better than others. It is definitely worth trying though.
