You sure that's not a meeting of the Democrat National Committee?
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

I actually drove to Rowena yesterday. Saw a lot of other nice scenery, but did not see that. Wow!

TPWD regs in Runnels County do allow taking bearded hens in the spring. I am thinking that rather than trying to call in gobblers this year, to use AR with 8-32X scope and try to pick out a couple of bearded hens. Maybe put a very small dent in the egg laying population.

That is a bunch of birds to be sure! Looks like a herd when they all gather on the other side of the meadow, but wild turkeys are indeed called a flock. We had two flocks on our lease that had grown from just a few beginning about ten years ago. We don't hunt them, but the absentee property owner next to us has two illegal alien grounds keepers that live on the property who have killed them all. One flock had about 35 birds and the other one about 20. They wiped them all out in two years. We know they take deer all season as well and have reported them to no avail, but I understand wardens can't keep a constant watch to catch them. BTW the group name for domestic turkeys is not the same as for wild ones. Domestic groups are called a rafter or gang of turkeys. Don't ask me why. :headscratch
