For those of you who like Rawles's books, his new book Founders came out yesterday and I was able to pick one up today at B&N. I enjoyed Survivors.

Cool. I liked the first one.

 OK, so I read the reviews on Amazon before buying.....glad I did.

I liked the first book, "Patriots," but was unaware of a second book, "Survivors," and now this is the third book, not the second. There were several reviews for both the 2nd and 3rd books which said that they liked the first book, but didn't like either "Survivors" or "Founders," and the complaint was the same for both—that the story was poorly written, the plot meandered with no real point or conclusion, and that there was no new "how to" survival information that wasn't in the first book.

I passed on buying it. I'd be interested to hear your take on it after having read it before I buy my own copy.
