Texas sweat & humidity !?!

+1 on the A-shirt as far as making it comfortable for me, but as indicated earlier, separating the gun with a non-sweat-transferring material like Kydex is a big help.

I started out wearing T-shirts, even the CoolMax, then tried athletic shirts. My gun got just as wet.

The shirts eliminated the droplets, but everything still got completely saturated.

If it's warm enough for me to perspire, I pocket carry. I leave the belt rigs for when it's cooler.

My guns get soaked I wear my Ruger Stainless If I'm gonna get hot. I whip the gun down when with the silicone cloth, I really believe this stuff helps

Riding the Wing down to Cabela's last monday with my CW40.
I could feel tha' sweat running down my sides and remember feeling the damp holster with the CW40.
Didn't look at her for the next few days .... But when I did !
Found the slide stop (pin) corroded and the end of the barrel stained; kinda like gun powder ( a small black dried, run mark )
After afew choice words to my self, I got out the breakfree CLP and the cleaning kit.
Breakfree CLP, and brass brushes, wouldn't remove the stain !!!
Any reccommendations ?

Get a Beretta.

I sweat like crazy and the only signs I can see are a bit of corrosion on the grip screws where I foolishly used the wrong sized screw driver one day.

Other than that, I haven't seen a lick of discoloration and I really don't do anything except hang it on the rack every night when I get home.

I have both blued and Inox Berettas.

You might try Nevr-Dull, you can pick it up from an Autozone for about $5.

Try some Underarmour heat gear undergarments (or generic equivalent), they actually work pretty well.

no matter how much you sweat, a Glock can even shoot under water
so ...
