Texas City: Halloween starts early

#1

Post by seamusTX »

In Texas City, yesterday, around 4:25 a.m., a man wearing a Halloween mask tried to rob a resident in the 100 block of 29th Street North. The robber pointed a pistol at the victim, demanded money, and hit the victim on the head.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, between 5'9" and 5'11".

This story does not make clear whether the victim was outdoors, or opened his door, or the robber forced his way in.

Some interesting details:
On Oct. 29, a 52-year-old man was asleep in his recreation vehicle ... when he felt the RV rocking back and forth. When he opened the door, a man wearing a red T-shirt and the spooky Halloween mask was waiting for him holding a semi-automatic pistol.

After the robber demanded the man turn over his money, he smacked the victim upside his head, breaking his hearing aid. That’s when the man fought back and wrestled with the would-be robber before pulling off the mask, police said.

The robber ran off.
:thumbs2:

The thug's expectations were not met.

BTW, the suspect was already on parole.

I wonder how the cops figured out who the robber was.
