Just bought a house!
I'm moving to Temple this summer (Mrs. got into med school there) and we just bought a house. Brand new 3 bed/2bath, big open floor plan, huge backyard, and most importantly...a 2 car garage. The Nova may actually get worked on again for the first time in roughly 2 1/2 years. :D

If I told you, it wouldn't be a very good panic room, would it?marksiwel wrote:Where's the Panic Room?

Hopefully that's not your car parked next to the fire hydrant.

Congratulations! I know it'll be nice for you to have a garage. But beware, a man's stuff will always expand to fill whatever space he has.

Like the backyard, just throw some dirt back there and you have a great place for shooting

Something tells me that his back neighbors might have an issue with that. Although that is a good idea!marksiwel wrote:Like the backyard, just throw some dirt back there and you have a great place for shooting

Re: Just bought a house!
It is a big backyard, but not far enough away from others for me to build a range...maybe someday when I get a place with a few acres....
Thanks for all the congrats. We're very excited.

Re: Just bought a house!
Congrats. Nice house. Is it your first? If so, be sure you claim your tax credit - that should buy you plenty of grass for that big backyard and some new guns

Thanks! Yes, its the first one. New guns would be nice...but for some reason she's wanting some furniture to actually put in the house so I'm probably out of luck with gun/car parts purchases for a while....austinrealtor wrote:Congrats.
