Just bought a house!

#1

Post by 74novaman »

I'm moving to Temple this summer (Mrs. got into med school there) and we just bought a house. Brand new 3 bed/2bath, big open floor plan, huge backyard, and most importantly...a 2 car garage. The Nova may actually get worked on again for the first time in roughly 2 1/2 years. :D

If I told you, it wouldn't be a very good panic room, would it? :biggrinjester:

Hopefully that's not your car parked next to the fire hydrant.

Congratulations! I know it'll be nice for you to have a garage. But beware, a man's stuff will always expand to fill whatever space he has.

Like the backyard, just throw some dirt back there and you have a great place for shooting :patriot:

Something tells me that his back neighbors might have an issue with that. Although that is a good idea!

It is a big backyard, but not far enough away from others for me to build a range...maybe someday when I get a place with a few acres....

Thanks for all the congrats. We're very excited. :coolgleamA:

Congrats. Nice house. Is it your first? If so, be sure you claim your tax credit - that should buy you plenty of grass for that big backyard and some new guns :thumbs2:

Thanks! Yes, its the first one. New guns would be nice...but for some reason she's wanting some furniture to actually put in the house so I'm probably out of luck with gun/car parts purchases for a while.... :grumble
