If you have a few minutes, and want to read a first-hand account of the joint Navy/Marine Corps takedown of the pirates who took the MAGELLAN STAR, read this. I do hope this thread remains a tribute to those engaged in this action and the things all hands did right, accomplishing their mission against armed and threatening adversaries without using lethal force, and avoids becoming a critical political commentary as did a couple of comments on the article at the end.
