Congratulations!

I've got 9 so far, and they're lots of fun.

Unfortunately none of them live close by, so we visit by internet video phone calls.

Well everyone, being a member of the grandpa club is as awesome as you all have described. I've been able to hold the little booger for at least an hour each night now. So far he and I have covered a good turkey hunt story, catchin crawdads to scare mamma, reloading, sharpening knifes, and the best way to grill backstraps. I gotta tell ya the kid is a good listener. They go home tommorow, I guess I should give them a break. Na, weekend coming up, I know grandma is going to be there, I might as well go too!!
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. John Wayne

Congratulations!!! :cheers2:

I missed your post on Monday!

Tuesday I had the pleasure of taking two of my grandchildren (out of five) to San Antonio to meet MY GRANDFATHER for the first time. In February, we get to take all five to Florida to see their Great Grandmother.

If I would have known years ago the joys of having grandchildren, my wife and I might have just passed on having children and adopted a couple of 17 year old teens, and waited..................... :smilelol5: (Yes, I am joking! I do love my children and enjoy being their Dad.)

Well, I acquired 7 of them with my second marriage quite a few years ago. It was much easier that way.

And I'm sure I'd lose the "who's got the most guns" contest......
