I Saw an Interesting Sign Today

Post by WildBill »

I was out visiting a manufacturing company today. In their lobby they had a flat screen TV showing a slide presentation describing various aspects about the company, their people and products. While watching the presentation, a slide popped up which really caught my attention. I had to watch the show twice to make sure that I was not seeing things.

"Safety is something that happens between your ears, not something you hold in your hands."
- Jeff Cooper

I never did get to ask who decided to put that in their presentation.

I just wonder if they knew Jeff Cooper or just thought it was a good quote. We, on the forum, tend to look at things from a "CHL or gun perspective", but this quote applies to every potentially hazardous operation that a person does at home or at work.
