feral hogs and coyotes using a helicopter-When Pigs Fly

#1

Post by RPB »

This really isn't a Political thread, I just found the grammar amusing in this bill summary about hunting.
(From the calendar showing Senate floor actions yesterday)
http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/BillLook ... Bill=HB716" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

HB 716 (CS) (LC) Miller, Sid/ Christian/ Deshotel SP: Fraser/ et al.
Relating to the taking of certain feral hogs and coyotes using a helicopter.

Please do not take any feral hogs and coyotes which are smart enough to use helicopters.... just the ones which are on the ground.

Yeah, I know it refers to the "taking" by using a helicopter ...

Ok yeah, I'm easily amused :biggrinjester:

We should only be given an exemption if they are flying in an aircraft they are not licensed to fly. Say if they have a fixed wing license, or no license, and they are flying the helicopter. Also they must not have any other passengers to avoid the tragedy of innocent life being lost from the resulting crash. Also that brings up the problem of shooting them down over private or critical infrastructure. It would be a No-No shooting them down over any inhabited dwelling, unless of course they Coyotes/Feral Hogs are engaging in actions which put innocent life in immediate danger....
Personally I think that we should send some AC-130U Spooky planes with a full loadout after these hogs which are ruining so much land. Could make for a good training exercise.

The government says there are no black helicopters but maybe they're hogs and coyotes.

Yes, and the best part is that my wife gave the same condition for when she'd be OK with it.

My brother hunted pigs from a helicopter using full-auto m-16's. He had a terrific time.

If they have time to vote for this, they have enough time to pass campus carry, range protection, and parking lot carry.

If a Warthog counts as a flying pig, then here you go. BTW, that's not flatulence you'll hear on the video.

Well, if it comes to dogfights (pigfights?) with flying pigs, our heat-seeking
missiles will have to be adjusted to the average pig's body temperature,
as opposed to a Mig's jet temperature.

Some hickory wood and a good smoker will be needed to BBQ up the losers. :-)
