DC 's response to high crime - Be a good victim

Post by JJVP »

Mr. Quander thinks victimhood is preferable to self-defense. “The problem is, if you are armed, it escalates the situation,” Mr. Quander told residents. “It is much better, in my opinion, to be scared, to be frightened, and even if you have to be, to be injured, but to walk away and survive. You’ll heal, and you can replace whatever was taken away.”

Yeah, she has become a gun rights crusader for DC and a thorn in DC city councils side. Wish her well. :tiphat:

If only Mr. Quander could guarentee that, but of course he can't.

Does he accept to be sexually assulted too? Can he recover after being a victim of homocide? If so, he is the best case of what she is preaching, a member of victimhood of death!

BTW? Is this a strategy to fight crime? How stupid? That idiot is telling criminals, you have a free buffet and easy prey, enjoy the easy "licks" and the "piece of choclate cake" ( home invasion), Kidnapp some family member and force them to get the bad guy some $20,00K, the mere cost of living for couple months. :mad5

THe crime instead of doubling, it would be 10X!

Mr. Quander certainly has the right to practice that philosophy if he chooses. The fact that he wants to force everyone else to practice it is highly offensive. I wouldn't live in Washington DC for all the tea in China.

As long as politicians have armed bodyguards or police protection, they have no business telling citizens to be good victims. Politicians who do that are evil. They are not mistaken or confused. They know the truth and that's why they have armed protection. They choose to aid and abet violent criminals and they are as evil as the rapists and robbers they choose to help.

Substitute sociopath or psychopath for "evil" if you want but don't delude yourself into thinking they're good people with bad ideas.

I love it when some bleeding heart tries to say that you shouldn't end someone's life over $20 in your wallet. They are missing the equation though. When a thug attempts to rob you, the thug is the one saying that a life is worth $20. You, as the armed victim, get to decide who's life it will be. Seems fair to me. :fire

AndyC, I read your comment on the original story, and I agree wholeheartedly. Nicely put.

He has OBVIOUSLY never been the victim of a crime/bullying! I can't make the other comments I want to as my 20 year old shouldn't read it! :banghead:
