I don't know what this song is "supposed" to be about, but the "And I'm not allowed to talk it out" and "And I'm not allowed to figure it out" lines in the chorus really resonate with how I've been feeling lately, so I'm pretty sure this is gonna be my theme song for a while...

Just learned of the passing of seminal Rock & Roll Hall of Fame keyboardist Ian Mclagan, 12 May 1945 – 3 December 2014. A transplanted Texan(Austin resident for 20 years)McLagan's Bump Band was the Fifth Street Speakeasy's house band for more than a decade. Not limited to his stints with Small Faces and Faces, Mclagan recorded and toured with the Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Jackson Brown, Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Westerberg, Izzy Stradlin, John Hiatt, Frank Black, Nikki Sudden, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Scalzo, Carla Olson, Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor. RIP

Trivia, Becker & Fagen toured with Jay & The Americans, bass & keyboards, 70-71ish.
