I read on another forum, without specifics, that several other Sheriffs in GA have joined in that stance.

I worked at a place where the owner often said, "There are only two kinds of customers, good customers and former customers."

I wonder how many police chiefs and sheriffs will tell the feds to go fly a kite when they want any new guns laws enforced. The last chief I worked for was extremely anti-gun and didn't believe private citizens should own guns. That chief fought the CHL law tooth and nail. I know more chiefs that are quite opposite of that one though.

I wished he would have corrected her when she call them automatic rifles. The press still tries to spin things.

Guns are like parachutes: if you don't have one when you need it, then chances are that you won't ever be in need of one again.

Me, too.

If a few more agencies would take similar actions, commercial support for a gun ban would quickly dry up.
