I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

The shame is that it is illegal in Texas to have a have a concealed weapon at a Texas City Council meeting.

Well handled. Wonder what happened to the council member that walked out? The other two that voted for the motion sure got a little lecturing to.

Is this what your referring to?
...
(c)A license holder commits an offense if the license
holder intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun
under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code,
regardless of whether the handgun is concealed, at any meeting of a
governmental entity.
...
(i)Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply
if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06
.
The city meeting must be posted to apply or am I off here?
