DFW Get Together - Potluck Thread

Ok , guys and gals. Let's see what everyone is bringing to our Get Together at Elm Fork on April 6. Please post below what you would like to bring. There are no restrictions and no limitations, as long as you stay within the guidelines of the range. Just make sure that there aren't 20 people bringing the exact same thing! Rx8er and I will provide the paper goods/plastic ware for the group.

TBM, Will there be grills available? I will bring venison sausage, precooked/smoked. It only needs to be heated, but if there are no grills I may be able to heat it up ahead of time and keep in an insulated cooler. Let me know.

We have to pack in and pack out what we need. I am sure someone will bring a grill, so keep checking this thread and the other. If you don't see anyone bringing a grill, you might want to bring it warm. This is how we generally take our smoked briskets on the boat - smoke it, wrap it in foil/beach towels, and throw in insulated bag. It stays warm for hours.

As mentioned in the other thread, I'll bring some pinwheels. Flour tortilla, with cream cheese, ham, and a green onion rolled up and sliced into bite size pieces. I'll bring some salsa for dipping, but ya'll can dip them in whatever else is there or not all all.

Would really like to go, but will have to play it by ear. Travelling more than quite a bit for work, and sometimes its rather difficult to know too far ahead of time when/where I'll be. If I'm in town and available (lots of honey-dos when home....) I'll be there....otherwise, I hope everyone has a great time!!!!
