Best Burgers in Your Area

#1

Post by TheCytochromeC »

In lieu of a recent thread on unappetizing burgers, I thought it would be great to give some of our favorite joints some credit.

My favorites in DFW:
1- JR Bentley's - King's Burger
2- Fred's Texas Cafe - Diablo Burger
3- Chapps Cafe (carrier pkwy & IH20)

Got a favorite?

Bottlecap and Twisted Root are consistently good... But 5-Guys is the hands-down winner for burgers..
Too bad 5-guys has a strip mall, fast food atmosphere.. 5-Guys burgers served at Bottlecap would be a big winner.

Never did take a liking to Kincaids... Just ok.

Stomps in Bacliff.
Stomps should be good and compared to Tookies as after Hurricane Ike, while Tookies was shutdown, before it was decided to reopen, I hear there were a few from Tookies that opened Stomps.
I have never been to Stomps personally, I would suppose they are close to the same as Tookies, which means DARN GOOD!
