I wonder if ObummerCare covers sex change operations so you can take advantage of those new coverages?

I bet sex change is covered. In our perfect socialist, utopian society, nobody is denied their desires. Very few people bring up that evil bag of dungs name in my home. It keeps the spitting down to a minimum.

You would need a pirogue to navigate my home if we had that rule.
Right after the spawn of satan was elected the first time I got a call from my sons first grade teacher. Apparently they were discussing how elections work and the role of President. My son very enthusiastically shared my opinions. It was all I could do not to laugh as the teacher shared his colorful comments. Took him out for ice cream after school.
I would have bought him a weeks worth of ice cream. :thewave

Just wait. Obama and Bloomberg will make that illegal too.

Just wait until private health insurance goes away completely and the federal government becomes the single payor. They will fully control healthcare then.

You year there are no death panels now. A ninety year old lady that attends our church and has been seeing her doctor regularly was just informed she is in late stages of kidney failure. When she asked if she is going to have to start dialysis, she was told they would not do dialysis on someone her age. I don't know enough about it to know if that is a medical based decision or financial.

Yep. Can't go on without the occasional rocky road or chocolate mint.

For me it is the Braums banana split!! I bet that would be considered a capital punishment offense. They might even call me an "enemy of the state" after consuming one of these bad boys.

I don't know where the line is drawn, but my father was started on dialysis at age 85.

Become? It already is....from the top down. And if you're someone actually trying to obey the law.....well, it's impossible. Every day you're breaking some law or laws you don't even know exist.

Maybe, I missed it, but I didn't read of anyone being concerned regarding security problems when you apply for Obama Care, i.e., I.D. theft potential when you hand over all your personal particulars.

Nor, did I see anyone complaining about confidential medical information no longer being confidential.

Yeah, Obama care in general is outlandish, but the previous two concerns (among others) I brought up are why we're not signing my wife up.

We'll pay the fine.

The only "medical" information they request is your age. But financial information? Bad as an IRS audit.

Edit: Actually WORSE than an audit -- you have to predict what you'll make next year.

I was trying to use the marketplace and I reported that I do have a high income more that $94K per yr. and my wife and kids have 0 income, Wife and I are filing jointly, guess what my family are eligible for, Medicaid
Also, my wife was listed as daughter rather than a spouse in the dependent section.

I called and complained that my wife and kids should not be on Medicaid, the rep, she barely spoke good English and she was assuring me that there is nothing wrong with my application and my eligibility for Medicaid. :banghead:

I complained for maybe the 3rd time and I was asked to "remove" my application and start over again.

Yeah, the system is being fixed. :totap: :totap: :totap: :boxing

She should seek a second opinion from a nephrologist that is NOT in the same practice or physicians group. That way, if she's denied (and there very well may be medical decisions why she's being denied) she'll know that, while not a good situation for her, it's at least one based upon best information.
