Got In Trouble With My Wife

#1

Post by WildBill »

She asked me to help cook dinner.

I asked her what I could do.

She said "peel half of those potatoes" in the bag on the countertop.

I did, but then she got mad at me. :headscratch

At least you got half of it right. Not like you were totally out there...

You peeled the wrong half?

If she is anything like my ex, she wanted you to peel the other half of the taters. Instead.

I guess it's more-or-less a Universal Truth that men screw things-up so they're never asked to do them again.

I've not done one load of laundry since washing a red sweatshirt with all my SO's undies.

Way back when I came back off FBM patrol around Valentine's Day, Mrs. Anygunanywhere surprised me with a red nightie. A few days later she went to work and asked me to wash clothes. I jumbled up her white nurse uniforms and loaded the washer. Me being a man and a sailor I did not look in the washer. She had put the red nightie in the washer.

Her uniforms came out pink.

To this day she never asks me to do laundry.

You did all of that while inside a bag on the countertop?

If I feel like pushing limits I'll have a conversation that goes like this:

Mrs: "Can I ask you to do XYZ"

Me: "Yup"

A certain amount of time has passed

Mrs: "Are you going to do XYZ?!"

Me:" You just asked me if you could ask me to do it. You never asked me to do it."

At least I'm entertained...

My problem is the boss will say hey will you go do abc? I say sure and get up to go do abc. On the way to go do abc she will invariably ask if I can do def as well? Sure. So I start doing def. then she will ask if I can do xyz. Yep. So I go do xyz. I finish xyz and go sit back down. Then she gets mad because I have forgotten abc and def.

One thing at a time please!!! I can calculate the drift, drop and lead in my head on a 1000 yard 308 shot but come on quit confusing me!!! "rlol" :smilelol5: :smilelol5:
