Congratulations to my Wife

#1

Post by Sidro »

For being married to such a fine fellow as myself for forty years today. She probably deserves a sympathy card.

Kidding aside I married far above my station and do not deserve such a fine lady. It took three times asking her to marry me before she accepted and I cherish that day. I hope that all of you have the happiness we have enjoyed on our trip through life.

Coming up on 20 I can appreciate a little about what 40 might be like.

Congratulations to both of you for having the faith, love, fortitude, and courage to overcome all the things that you have encountered through the years that could have been used as excuses to give up on your marriage.

You have achieved what few in today's world can claim, and you serve as an inspiration to others.

I wish you good health and great happiness for the next 40 years!
