Houston south quadrant breakfast
Apologies if another thread is inappropriate but I thought it would be good to have one for each area/group so it would be only the folks planning to join that group to be easier and clearer who and how many to expect. I'll start with a suggestion for the Pearland/Friendswood/CLC/south Houston area with the first Friday of every month for this area. How about starting with 2/6/15 at the IHOP on Fuqua just off the Gulf Freeway at 08:30?

Nobody else plans on going next week?

If we're back in town by then I'll try to make it.

I meant to post earlier and completely forgot but I plan to be there in the morning. I'll be wearing an orange Texas Dad cap.

There were two of us to get this started. It was a good time. It's too bad others couldn't have made it and enjoyed the fun. There's always Friday, March 6 to plan for. Any suggestions for a location?

Anyone interested in March 6, or is a forum breakfast an idea whose time has not yet come?

I am good for March 6. The IHOP is fine with me.

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast
Once again I will miss attending. The last one I was out of town visiting family and this time I'll be in Mansfield baby sitting. Hope I can make the next one. On a positive note I'll be meeting up with The Annoyed Man, C-Dub and Paw Paw for a little skeet shoot at Elm Fork; maybe I can talk them into having lunch!
Have a good meet up! Keep us posted on future get togethers.

I'd possibly be interested in attending as well. Please keep us posted.

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast
When I helped organize meetups for another group, we had much higher attendance when our schedule didn't conflict with typical working hours. Our original core group was graduate students so it wasn't a problem when we started but eventually we had to adjust the time to stay viable. Good luck!LDB415 wrote:Anyone interested in March 6, or is a forum breakfast an idea whose time has not yet come?
