School's cancelled for us (Southwest of Denton about 9 miles) on both Monday and Tuesday. Felt good pulling the covers up and rolling over to fall asleep again.

Going to try and catch some ZZZzzzz's just in case the snow bypasses us later this morning. Worst case, we get 2-4" of snow.. Best cases, the snow goes above us or below us and we're damp, but no snow.

The school usually decides by 5 am, so hopefully we'll now in the next 5 hours or so.

Just got back from taking my grand daughter to school. It started snowing at about 8:15 and stopped at about 9:45. We may have gotten 2 inches but it's turning to slush real fast. School started 2 hours late but they are there..

I was picking up my g/f from work after working all night myself this morning. On the way back around 9am it was sleeting bad enough to cover the roads in a sheet of ice. I have never driven in worse conditions than this morning. I had to run a red light and skid halfway through another one. I never got above 30mph on the highway and still was having trouble keeping control in 4wd. I saw 5 other vehicles in the ditch on the way home. Idk how people up north deal with it, I'm sure they have a much better equipped road maintenance crew.

Also got around 4in of snow later that morning.

My weather report says clear for the next 2 days. I guess it's not going to make it this Far East.

It's been snowing in Lubbock all morning, starting pretty early.
The sooner I get behind, the more time I have to catch up.

All the schools in North Ellis County are closing at 11:00. Several areas of I35 are closed south of Dallas due to accidents.

Temp is 22' here and it's been snowing for about 2 hours now. Not quite an inch on the ground. Waiting for the school to call it a day so I can go pick up my grand daughter.

Started snowing in the WF area around 9am , light snow accumulating and it's about 1'' now . Schools closed at noon , traffic is crawling , the place I work closed at noon. Took twice as long as usual to get home. It's still snowing lightly, so we will be an inside weekend.Ya'll be careful if you get on the road!

Everyone calm down. I know most Texans aren't used to it, but it's called Winter and it'll pass. Be careful out there. Or throw a few logs on the fire and pull up a chair.

Yep, this crazy weather is wreaking havoc with testing at school. Looks like I will have to work part of spring break to get caught up on paperwork.
