I remember going to see her as a youngster at Wunsche (sp) Brothers in old town Spring a long time ago.

That brings back memories.

Sometime, on a Sunday, in about 1992, Mrs. Oldgringo and I were riding around on the coast of SC, where I was doing a job. We put that cassette in the truck's player. Having just finished a job in Pampa, we were a little familiar with Texas. We started singing along with Tanya and declared that we wanted to go back to Texas. We've lived here 21 years this month.

I had major boy-hood crush on her many moons ago. Delta Dawn is still one of my top ten favorite songs.
