Watching it right now........and since I am more or less fluent in French, I don't need the subtitles.

I watched that a while ago. It's a good movie, and very realistic.

Good movie. I guess I'm confused about the timeframe of events, or I just missed it. Was the setting before the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, before taking Kabul, or after?

I thought it was pretty decent, but I had trouble buying into about the last 25% of it. It reminded me a lot of "Acts of Valor".

I watched it a couple of weeks ago. I agree it was pretty good. Learned a few french phrases.

Might also watch "9th Company" About "An eclectic group of Soviet soldiers ships off to fight in Afghanistan, where they must endure hellish conditions and dangerous mujahedeen forces." I found it a pretty darn good movie. In Russian but easy sub-titles.

That was a good flick. And I got to practice my Russian.

I watched it again - must have been sleeping the first time. Pretty good movie, even after seeing it twice!

My only question(s) was why they only carried two radios (remember one is none, two is one?). Also why no one was looking for them from surveillance aircraft at night? Anyway, another good movie about real heroes.

What service is carrying "9th Company"?

Just saw the news that Clint Eastwood is making a new movie about "Sulley" Sullenberger. Yeah!
