Our lot is pie-wedge shaped, so our backyard spans two different neighbors on the back side. Right now, we're having the problem with the neighbor on the left; a few years ago it was the neighbor on the right. In that case, I did exactly what you suggested - hit them with a hose and it shut them up, at least for the night. It also left their back patio dripping wet; I'm sure they wondered about it, but never said anything. Unfortunately, the neighbor on the left installed an 8-foot cedar fence a few years, and I'm not about to try and climb to the top of it at night with a garden hose. Maybe if I found (or made) a convenient knot-hole at just the right height, in just the right location...MeMelYup wrote:If the neighbors dog is barking and you can hit it, spray it in the face with water.
