Andy, I'm quite sure you did some serious soul searching to reach your decision. I applaud you for it. And congratulations! :tiphat:

Is it because you've been in Texas to long, and our spelling has rubbed off on you?

Seriously though, I don't think you'll have any problems at all.

tax rebate? what is a tax rebate?

do you mean when you unintentionally over pay the government what they think is their due then have to prove that you did to get it back?

However, I've changed my mind - I'm going to use the money to apply for US citizenship and feel quite good about it. The scope will have to wait till whenever - this is more important :patriot:

Congratulations on deciding to take the citizenship plunge. Hopefully you don't come to regret it after the upcoming elections.

Oh yeah, and it's no rebate. That is your hard-earned money that they have no right to.

And please vote. I hope you would make it before November. Usually, they accelerate the process for those who apply in the election year.

Best of luck, Andy, for a speedy completion of the process. I shudder to think that any test for citizenship might deny someone for simple spelling errors -- particularly if the "error" in question is an accepted spelling elsewhere in the world. I am sure it'll end up being a non-issue.
