Air Force Wife Injured in Brussels Attacks Dies
The wife of an Air Force officer caught at Brussels Airport during the recent terrorist attacks there died as a result of her injuries, according to news reports....

Gail Minglana Martinez, 41, was the wife of Air Force Lt. Col. Kato Martinez. ...

Her husband and four children remain hospitalized. ...

Martinez had just celebrated her 21st wedding anniversary. Her Facebook page is filled with pictures of her family's travels in Europe during Kato Martinez' assignment to Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum [Netherlands].
She was from Corpus Christi.

I used to be stationed right across the border from Brunssum, and Brussels was the airport I always went in and out of. Brussels airport has seen some violence over the years -- it was the first place I ever saw police carrying submachine guns, and that was decades ago.

RIP Mrs. Martinez, best wishes and prayers for your family.

Very sad.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Martinez family.

May she rest in peace.

This is terrible.
