My wife followed a Facebook link to this HuffPo article. The article is kind of vapid, but the comments are absolutely precious....

Fire. I wouldn't keep fire in the house. I can tell you with absolute certainty that 100% of all burned down houses were caused by fire. All of them.

.........

Bed. More people die in bed than anywhere else.

.........

Water. Have you any idea how many people drown in water every year?

...........

Get ready to have your mind completely blown. Nearly 100% of the people on this earth since the very beginning of human kind have died in the presence of oxygen!

.............

I find not having children in the house resolves a lot of these issues.
That's just a sampling.

My wife's sister and her husband are both ER Doctors in New York. They did Medical School at Texas A&M. He has a full-carry NY license and is finishing the police academy in upstate NY. Also is currently the FBI SWAT Team Doctor. He and wife treat gunshots, but they don't mind having lots of guns including a couple NY crippled AR's.
4/13/1996 Completed CHL Class, 4/16/1996 Fingerprints, Affidavits, and Application Mailed, 10/4/1996 Received CHL, renewed 1998, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2016...). "ATF... Uhhh...heh...heh....Alcohol, tobacco, and GUNS!! Cool!!!!"
