Body found in Apple Headquarters Conference Room

#1

Post by WildBill »

A body was found in a conference room at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino this morning, according to several news reports.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the incident. A public information officer for the department
did not return a request for comment. Dispatchers received an emergency call at 8:35 a.m., according to a San Jose Mercury News report, and found a man dead.

The Santa Clara County Fire Department confirmed to TechCrunch that it received a report of a Hispanic male who had suffered a head wound,
but the fire department was dismissed by sheriff’s deputies and never went onto the Apple campus.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department told a Mercury News reporter that the man is an Apple employee:
Just my guess, but it appears to be a possible suicide.

It's not good publicity for any company to have this happen on their premises.

I think they meant applebees. Wouldn't surprise me anyway.

I'm pretty sure Apple wouldn't allow guns on its properties, so I'd be curious to hear exactly how this guy died.

Not to much new. The deceased was an Apple employee.

I am very surprised that his name has not been released by the police.

The local newspaper doesn't seem to have any more information that was posted by the KRON television.

TMZ seems to have more information than anyone else.
