DNC BURNING THEIR HOUSE DOWN

Does anybody else find it incredibly amusing that everything that was predicted to happen at the Republican Convention is happening at the Democratic Convention! I guess this is what happens when you put that many corrupt power hungry people in the same building!
Total melt down!

The republicans put on their own version of a dumpster fire.

Hopefully, the DNC will out do the republicans.

I tried to watch for a while tonight; was set on seeing Bernie's speech. But I couldn't take it. After less an hour my TV was in dire danger of having a book or lamp or shoe...something thrown through it.

I tried.....I honestly tried to watch it. I gave up after about 45 seconds. I just......can't.

Michelle Obama praised the protesters in Dallas for fighting for a better world for their kids - and never mentioned the police who died protecting them.

:iagree: I think we made it a few minutes. Neither my wife or I could take
the sound of the first ladies voice.... or the finger wagging for that matter.

I'm not watching as I don't like listening to people lie.

Best to stay away from politics as a whole, then.

I say that we give it the old Volunteer Firefighter treatment... let it burn.

The Rangers game was infinitely better, especially when Adrian Beltre hit the first pitch to him out of DFW for a 2 run walk off homer in the 9th.

My facebook status this morning...

"Barnum and Bailey presents
'The Democratic National Convention'
That was even more fun to watch than the RNC.
Looks like it's a contest on which party can implode first."

The gavel is down on today's activities. And at least the early stages could be very interesting to watch. The expectation is that there will be a full, state-by-state roll call--to dispel any question of "rigging" or collusion "rlol" --and that Vermont will be left until last. At which point Bernie will take the podium and call for a consensus vote and ask all delegates to cast their votes for Hillary. The undercurrent feeling seems to be that a fair percentage of those 40% of delegates who voted for Bernie are going to be vocal about it and vote Hillary.

I think there are some angry Bernie supporters on the floor, and party disunity could be prominently on display. I may even fire-up up the DVR, just in case.

I do not, however, plan to stay tuned-in to watch the first potential First Gentleman take the podium...
