Bingo! That's why I left Samsung and went to LG (have the G4 right now). I almost always upgrade the battery to one 2x normal size and mAh. I used to carry a spare 2x size battery. This LG has done well with just the single.

My Samsung Galaxy S5 has both. My phone slipped out of my shirt pocket over a year ago into my pool. I took the time to change my clothes before jumping in to retrieve the phone. For a few hours I had to use the bluetooth to listen to calls. The earpiece jack was wet which made the phone act like earplugs were plugged in. It worked fine after that jack dried out and still works fine.

I don't know how they keep it waterproof, but the battery can be accessed and removed after taking off the back cover.

Just ordered i-phone for wife. Used United Air miles. No. of miles varies with capacity. used 66,000.
