From the librag Texas Tribune yesterday:

Sure seems like it might be related.

But surely not. Democrats continually remind us that they set the bar when it comes to ethics and morality....

I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

I've been scratching my head :headscratch trying to figure out why Sen. Menendez would try to hide $50,000 in donations from the Texas Trial Lawyers Association ($25,000) and Texans Against Lawsuit Abuse ($25,000). It's not like either organization would refuse to donate to the Senator if they knew he was taking money from the other group, right? Puzzling absolutely puzzling.

I'm learning that Texas politics is about as much fun to watch as the Illinois politics were when I lived there. At least ex-governors of Texas don't tend to end up in prison upon completion of their terms in office.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager
