POLICY

No person shall possess, discharge or otherwise use any weapon on any property owned, leased or otherwise controlled by the University. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the individual has a concealed weapon permit or is otherwise authorized by law to possess, discharge or use any such device.

My wife taught at a private University here in TX. They opted out of campus carry. Twice she had to lock down a class. Cut off the lights, shut the blinds, have the students hide, block the unlock-able door, wait with fire extinguisher and bear spray......now no one would bring a gun to a GFS.......would they?
