I guess nobody in the car was hit since they didn't mention it. I found it amusing they had to say his "final shot". I'd be surprised if he kept shooting after killing his friend.

And the kid that got shot didn't feel the need to step off to the side or behind the shooter? Muzzle blast wasn't a bit tough on the ears? I think I see DARWIN in this incident!
