And more.

Already telling lies by the third sentence:
Whatever our political inclinations and values, most of us can probably agree that The New York Times is a quality publication with capable journalists.

My favorite prediction from the Washington Post.

They are too embarrassed to let me give you a link, all I can do is give you a screen shot.

From October 2016.

US needs help from the United Nations with the election.

"America May Need International Intervention

Even Democrats may find it hard to imagine, but the “leader of the free world” would benefit from United Nations oversight."

Texas gun culture of having firearms 'inside suits, boots, bras' shocks reporter

https://www.foxnews.com/media/texas-gun ... s-reporter

WAPO reporter talks about guns and Texas. To live in Texas is to live with guns.

I really don’t notice.

This one still gets me:
"That [rocket pioneer Robert] Goddard… does not know the relation of action to reaction, and of the need to have something better than a vacuum against which to react — to say that would be absurd. Of course he only seems to lack the knowledge ladled out daily in high schools."

Pardon me for a minute. I've needed to remove a huge, old oak tree from my property for years. I'm just gonna go get my 12-gauge Remmy 870 and with one round blow that tree and its roots out of the ground. A single blast of double-aught can knock over a Ford F-250 extended cab, you know. I'd use an AR-15 but that would be overkill. That would leave a crater in the ground that's 10 feet deep...
