5th Circuit deals blow to federal gun statute used in Hunter Biden case

Rules that drug use should not exclude someone from purchasing a gun.

Time for the NFA to be revoked as a whole.
Knock all of the unconstitutional laws and administrative actions down like a row of dominoes.

AG appoints special council to investigate Hunter Probe.

How long until Trump is indicted for illegal acts with Hunter?
Edit: maybe not. Trump appointed him and Wikipedia lists him as a Republican.
Edit: maybe he will as this is the guy who gave Hunter the sweetheart deal that the judge rejected.

So the federal judge who called nonsense on the Hunter Biden sweetheart plea deal is dismissing the charges.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/spencerbr ... w-n2627228

The reason given is that they will be refiled in a different district.
Call me cynical but I expect one of two things to happen:
1) The federal prosecutor, under Garland, will neglect to file new charges and let the statute of limitations run out. (They have done this already with some of the charges against the "Smartest man" PINO Joe knows.

2) The feds will judge shop this to a friendly judge who will allow the original plea deal to go through.

Its good to be a Biden.

CNN is loosing their minds
this part bothers me
"
Court filings show that a summons was issued Thursday for him to appear in court for an initial appearance on the charges, though it is unclear when and where the initial appearance would take place.

Hunter Biden is currently in California, a source familiar told CNN, adding that any plan for a self-surrender or initial appearance, including the date and location, still needs be worked out."

anybody else would be in custody NOW and at dawns early light
but this is great

The three-count indictment was handed up Thursday by a federal grand jury in Delaware, according to court filings.

Count One accuses Hunter Biden of lying on an ATF form when he bought the gun, by falsely swearing that he wasn’t addicted to illegal drugs or using illegal drugs.

Count Two accuses Hunter Biden of lying to the federally licensed gun dealer in Wilmington where he bought the gun. The alleged lie was related to the same sworn statement on the ATF form.
Count Three accuses Hunter Biden of illegally possessing the gun while using drugs or being addicted to drugs, which is a federal crime. He possessed the gun for 11 days in 2018.

Somehow they aren't charging him with possession of the different pistol he is clearly holding in the photo from his laptop.

You can't make this stuff up...

Hunter Biden sues the IRS over tax disclosures after agent testimony before Congress
https://apnews.com/article/hunter-biden ... 9be6464c76
Hunter Biden sued the Internal Revenue Service on Monday, claiming that two agents publicly alleging tax-probe interference wrongly shared his personal information, a case that comes amid escalating legal and political struggles as the 2024 election looms.

The agents “targeted and sought to embarrass Mr. Biden” with the sharing of confidential tax information in press interviews and testimony before Congress, the suit said. His lawyers argue that whistleblower protections don’t apply, but a lawyer for one agent said any confidential information released came under whistleblower authorization and called the suit a “frivolous smear.”
Sure wouldn't want to embarrass a drug and sex junkie who's had multiple incriminatingly bad selfie videos already wash across the internet and who lies on federal gun forms. After all, then he might not be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2025. :banghead:
