My HD Shotgun

Post by Pawpaw »

I thought I would put up a couple of pictures of my Mossberg 930 SPX since I think I've finally gotten it the way I want it.

It is wearing the Elite Tactical Safety, Bobcat Foregrip, Rhino Rail, Inforce WML Weapon Light, and a Burris Fastfire III.

I can think of a couple of scenarios where the sling may come in handy when I need my hands free.

As you see it in the pictures, with 13 rounds of 00 Buck on board, it weighs 10.3 lbs.

Very nice Pawpaw. The 930SPX was seriously in contention for me when I was looking for a shotgun last year. Daughter just walked up and saw the pictures. She likes it too.

My Mossberg is not even in the same league as your Benelli.

I have a 930 in the safe I bought off a forum member a few years back. Looks like I have some accessorizing to do.

Sweet.

Nice looking weapon. I too like the sling. There are many times you many need to sling it.

It doesn't seem to have much of a preference.

When it was new, I did have to send it back because it didn't want to extract Federal 00 buck (and a couple of other issues). It seemed like the chamber was too tight. Unfired shells would chamber & extract just fine, but fired hulls stuck so hard the extractor would just slip off, leaving half or more of the hull still in the chamber.

I keep it loaded with Federal FliteControl 00 buck.
