Ordered a BCM upper

#1

Post by LDB415 »

The free BCG and compensator were too good to pass up. I ordered this one. I'm going to order a BCM lower to go with it. I'm still debating between the stock trigger and one of the Geissele options. I'm not sure I shoot at the level of a custom trigger so that money might be better spent on ammo.

A pistol without a round chambered is an expensive paper weight.

get the Geissele.

once you go Geissele, you'll never want to shoot a different trigger ever again.

if you look around you can find Geissele G2S on sale for $170. or a SSA for $230.

Yes, Geiselle triggers are great. I have pretty much standardized on their battle trigger at a minimum.

I got one of their uppers with the 18" barrel over the summer. Very nice and I really like that KMR handguard.

I would also upgrade the trigger... if you are trying to go for a higher end AR, why would you cheap out on the trigger? A good trigger can help improve your accuracy, especially over the standard AR trigger.

"Geissele G2S on sale for $170. or a SSA for $230"

These two triggers for all intents and purposes feel the same. Yes, the SSA has a bit more quality built in (without me going into technicalities, which I'm not qualified to do) but Google is your friend.

Save some money and get the G2S. I have one on my kiss AR and I love it.

If you really don't care to spend even that much, look at the ALG trigger for $65.00.
