I LOVE Gas Guns!

Sighted in new Seekins 6.5 Creedmoor AR at Elm Fork today (traded my bolt guns and some cash for it). Only shot 10 rounds total:

Can't wait to get it out to the precision long range!

I've had my eye on the Seekins 6.5 but even wholesale prices are steep.

That's one gorgeous rifle!

I've heard the term "Gas Guns" and still don't know what that means?

It refers to the gas operated action, as opposed to a bolt gun. Google "direct impingement" for more info.

I was thinking something more like these

Qualified at 1 MOA at 200 yards today. Rang steel out to 700 yards without a spotter. Lots of room for improvement but pleased with progress.Image

Unfortunately no. Really like ETTS and wish they would consider a day rate. Just can't justify a membership given the fact that I am still a fully employed wage slave and so free time is limited. Now if you would care for some company occasionally, I will buy lunch! :cheers2:

Although I will be renewing my membership next month when it expires, I haven't been able to get out there lately. We started babysitting our 1 yr old and 3 yr old grandkids full time during the week while their parents are at work. My wife goes to pick them up at 6am, M-F, and they get picked up from us at 4pm, so there's just no time to go during the week. That leaves Saturdays, which are often taken up by the things I couldn't do during the week; and Sundays don't work for us most of the time because of church activities.

BUT...... yeah, the next time I'm headed out there on a weekend, I'll try to remember to contact you to see if you want to come along.
