You may want to be careful about asking for height, weight and pictures before an interview.....The Labor Board can be as bad as the IRS!!!

Thanks for posting the job. It sounds like a great step up for people who are complaining about the antigun policies of their employer or employer's landlord.

Not a hatred of short people, but it is harder for a 5'1" person to handle a 6'8" without having to resort to force less often than one that is 6'+ range. It's a liability issue.

True enough. Someone of sufficient size that appears to be capable of handling themselves will be much more likely to deescalate a situation with their mere presence than someone of a smaller stature. One of my DPD friends is an excellent example of this. He is only about 5'9" and BG's are always testing him. He's getting up there in age, but can still handle most situations. And, of course, he has friends.

I was just reposting what my supervisor posted in the craigslist ad. And considering some of the people that were hired last year & this year, I'm not so sure of how much salt can be put into that. If somebody were short &/or overweight but were qualified or even just had a good "presence" then they would be considered for the job. If somebody were interested in working night shift, then that would definitely increase their chances ;) I am the only one who currently prefers nights, but I have always been that way.

If I was still in security I'd be all over it... I love nights. Good luck!
