CREDIT ASSOCIATE (M F 11AM 8PM) SHARED SERVICE CENTER

The AutoNation Shared Service Center (SSC) is currently seeking a Credit Associate
The Credit Associate is responsible for answering incoming Accounts Receivable calls; making credit decisions for customer shipment issues and helping open and assign Support Desk tickets for other types of calls, distributing incoming Accounts Receivable faxes, and processing setups for new customer accounts. The Credit Associate will work in a fast paced environment to maintain pleasant working relationships with all customers, both internal and external.
*PLEASE NOTE THE HOURS FOR THE POSITION ARE MON-FRI 11:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.*
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Answer queue calls from internal dealerships to approve pending orders
Set up new customer accounts
Fulfilling invoices requests from customers
Resolve Accounts Receivable issues that come in via Support Desk calls or emails including but not limited to invoices requests, General Ledger adjustments, application of unapplied payments, and account reconciliations
Understand basic accounting principles and logic
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
At least 2 years of experience in customer service environment
Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Office.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems
Have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
Communicate effectively with customer base
Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment
Produce high- quality work while under deadline pressure
Automotive customer service experience preferred, but not required
