DHS to stop deporting illegals

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

DHS to stop deporting illegals

Post by sjfcontrol »

Immigration Announcement link
In election year initiative, Obama administration will stop deporting, begin giving work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the US as children and have led law-abiding lives.
Allowing them to vote is next!

They can already vote. All they have to do is show up. Its not like they need to show any ID.

This is the DREAM act executed via executive fiat. Never mind that Congress refused to pass it multiple times. "We can't wait"

OK, granted -- but it's still illegal.
Perhaps I should have said, next step is making it legal for them to vote. I guess that's one way to make Voter ID irrelevant, make it legal for EVERYBODY to vote whenever, wherever, and as often as they want!

This policy didn't work out so well for the native Americans when they were dealing with the "European" problem they had back in the day.

It's not going to work out so well for the "United States" either.

Oh well, we had a good run there for a while...

Its not like everyone wants this "policy", not in the very least. A minority of people want this, they just happen to be very vocal and the crooks in the press are on their side. Its up to US to make a big enough stink about this that it will either be reversed or have a serious NEGATIVE impact on those pushing this business come this fall. Though I'd guess some people still think "it doesn't make a difference who you vote for"... :grumble

Is anyone else watching his press conference? After unequivocally blaming republicans for making him do this (because "it's the right thing to do"), he's being heckled by the press.

Yep -- I've never seen such a thing before. Interrupted multiple times!

They'll probably have him shot tomorrow.

Somewhat reminiscent of the "You Lie" outburst.

Speaking of which, which feed were you watching? On foxnews.com, they kept the video feed up well after the conference was over, and the cameraman seemed to be following one particular person in the crowd. I wonder if he was the guy? I didn't recognize him (or his voice).

I was on Fox News -- but over the air (well, Uverse, not online) They did cut to the guy near the end of the speech, when he was interrupting for the second time. You could hear him shouting questions as Obama walked back into the WH. They said it was Neil Monrow of the Daily Caller -- an online blog, apparently.

I just went there to see if this guy has anything up yet. I didn't notice anything posted by a Neil Monrow, but that could've been because of the giant banner headline at the top: Rep. Steve King to sue Obama administration over new immigration policy.

Well that didn't take long... :thumbs2:

Megyn Kelly said that's who it was, and Rush has also now mentioned the name -- but the spelling could be off.
