That's a bit misleading (not on your part, but on the person you talked to). In order to get through the whole process, it needs to make it to the House floor well before that.Jasonw560 wrote: She also said they would be in session until June 1st.

Re: Calendars HB 750
It looks like somebody is trying to kill HB 750 by blocking it from a full house vote.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
Re: Calendars HB 750
In fairness to the committee, they do have over 200 bills they are considering.
With that being said, should we be calling Rep. Hunter's office and urge him to put 750 on the calendar?

You have no idea! it seems like all of the state representatives have a competition to see who can get the most attractive assistants.
You should go down just to see the scenery. :-)

Okay.
Got an alert that the calendars committee had a meeting to schedule a calendar at 9:45 this morning, before session, and will have another one upon lunch recess. Set my alerts to get notified when the minutes are posted.

Anyone still bugging the Calendars committee to get this bill out and voted on?

Perhaps when SB 5 gets through the Senate, and is considered in the House ... HB 750 can be attached as an Amendment to SB 5

They meet today theoretically (except house is still in session)
