You do know a TEXAS Representative (AL GREEN) is a sponsor of a bill to limit magazine capacity don't you?
If you haven't e-mailed your Senators and Representatives, shame on you.
It isn't that hard.
P.M. me if you need help.

Also, contact the Whitehouse, before he gives his "gun control speech" (not the State of the Union Address, but the next speech he intends to give) here:

What I did:
I composed my thoughts and examples in Notepad, and pasted, put it in an e-mail to each on their "contact" page
Only took a few minutes.
If you don't take a few minutes, please don't gripe to me about your 3-round magazines when you are faced with 3 robbers, 5 home intruders, or 7 street gang members. Just tell them they need to fall down too, like in the movies, even if a bullet just hits the guy next to them, or if all bullets miss them, in your most assertive voice.

Email is fine when it's a low-priority issue or you're pretty sure the official you're writing to already agrees with you, but when it really matters, pick up a pen. Handwritten letters are much harder to ignore, and some officials insist on replying in kind, which lets you know that they really did read it.

RICHMOND - A state senator on Monday withdrew a bill that would have made it easier for someone with a history of mental problems to obtain a concealed weapon.
Interesting, He must have heard from constituents.

Either that, or it was amended to include holding an elected office as prima facie evidence of "mental problems."RPB wrote:http://www.wpcva.com/articles/2011/01/1 ... news28.txt

A Psychiatrist Examines The Anti-Gun Mentality
By Sarah Thompson, M.D.
andIf I were to summarize this article in three sentences, they would be:
(1) People who identify themselves as "victims" harbor excessive amounts of rage at other people, whom they perceive as "not victims."
(2) In order psychologically to deal with this rage, these "victims" utilize defense mechanisms that enable them to harm others in socially acceptable ways, without accepting responsibility or suffering guilt, and without having to give up their status as "victims."
(3) Gun owners are frequently the targets of professional victims because gun owners are willing and able to prevent their own victimization.

I learned that many of the antigun "studies" have serious flaws, and much more methodologically sound studies reveal a net benefit to gun ownership, both in lives saved and diminished crime rates.
