Today in Obama's new term as President

Day Two: Well its actually day One, but I didn't know about the article till day Two. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/11/ ... 7J20121107" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Obama supports UN resolution on Conventional weapons. Vote was scheduled immediately after Obama won. Vote apparently was delayed so that Obama would not have to face criticism from Romney. Gosh, can't wait to see what we have planned on Russia.

In other news Boeing announces layoffs to stay competitive in a shrinking defense industry, Dow drops 300 points.

None of which matters to the freeloader crowd...whichever Founding Father it was that talked about "voting themselves largesse" and the downfall of the Republic...that man got it right.

Obama already let it slip that defending America from strategic threats is not something he want's to do:

"I … don't agree with a missile-defense system."

"I think everybody understands … that I want to reduce nuclear stockpiles,"

...he'll have "more flexibility" on reducing missile defense after the election in November...

That is correct; however, he started campaigning for it nearly four (4) years ago.

Day Two: Staten Island FEMA office closed due to bad weather. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/stat ... TxAkrjIHBM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah its technically not day two as that would be January 21, but I will use this counting method cause thinking about more than four years really hurts.

Mixed feelings. It would be good to see him go. But where would he end up? And who would be his replacement???

How does "Supreme Court Justice Eric Holder" sound?

Yes, I like the fact that members of the current cabinet are leaving. But it's stil a little unnervining becuse we don't have any idea of what they'll be replaced with. Kinda like you're not sure if the devil that you know is better than the devil you don't.
