agreed. Accurately sums up a discussion that I have been trying to find a way to express over the last few weeks.

FYI, here's the link to the Small Wars Journal article titled, "Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A 'Vision' of the Future," that Bracken mentions in his Item 8. It was written in July 2012, and its scenario makes one assumption that did not, unfortunately, come about: that the general elections of 2012 would result in a change in control of the White House.

If you like military fiction try this one... http://blogcritics.org/books/article/bo ... obedience/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . The "State" in disobedience is Texas.
Or this one http://www.amazon.com/Republic-Americas ... 0979411424" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Taking place in WV.

Remember just fiction. Entertainment purposes only.

Damn, that's a great read. Very well thought out and impressive.

I guess once we all are unarmed, LEO departments won't need gun power anymore and we can replace their duty weapons with whistles. With all the money we'll save on firearms for law departments we'll have more money to spend on "frisbee golf courses"... I'm feeling safe and warm just thinking about a gun free America. :banghead:

Nah, they'll just have stun batons. There will be fines for cursing and Taco Bell will be the best food in town.

Yep and the stun batons with have at least 5-6 mechanical safeties with the last one asking the user before he enters his 20 digit PIN number, "are you sure you can't resolve this with a round of frisbee golf" before you activate this device....

Taco Bell food probably takes more lives than handguns and I'm going to have to get a lawyer on retainer to take care of my "cursing fines".

I'm sure you can work through those items, the big question though is "Do you know how to use the shells?"
