What would you ask Police Chief nominees if given a chance?

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

How long is an hour? Does this change at lunch time?

How do you feel about attaching Tazer-like GPS trackers to officers that will light them up if they don't move at least ten feet every hour?

They should give it to Randy Roland. He's put in his time and he knows McKinney. He's as qualified as any of the others and he's assistant chief now...

Tim,
I would like to hear how these questions are answered if you get to ask them.

:iagree: Not that it matters any, but I went to middle and high school with him. He is a good guy and good police officer. :thumbs2:

I would ask the same thing I want to ask every elected official and political appointee: "Explain the Bill of Rights."

This is exactly what I would like to see for every candidate for office... particularly on the State and Federal Level. A 10 part essay, in detail, expressing their personal interpretation of Amendments 1-10. In DETAIL!

I can only think of two questions.

1. Why do you want this job?

2. What do you hope to accomplish?

I believe the answers to those would tell me everything I need to know.

You could ask a highly intelligent question that was asked of one of our former presidents by this country's future...

Boxers or briefs?

I'm torn on which smilie to put on that. :banghead: or "rlol"

Either seems appropriate.
