Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.
There is no safety in denial. When seconds count the Police are only minutes away.
Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

My State Rep Hubert won't tell me his position on HB560. How about yours?

Done. Thanks for posting this, I didn't get notification from NRA. Guess I need to adjust my contact preferences with them.

I just sent the following.
I am writing to urge you to oppose any gun control legislation that may be proposed in light of the recent tragedy in Orlando, FL.

The fact is that we are at war. This is not a war that we wanted. It is a Jihad that has been declared on the U.S. and other western countries by certain radical Muslims. They are fighting an insurgent war, using terror as a tactic. The enemy is actively seeking out soft targets where they can slaughter as many innocents as possible with minimal risk of resistance. Disarming our citizens is the opposite of what we need to do. We need to eliminate soft targets as much as possible, not create more of them.

The democrats in our government are putting politics ahead of the safety of our nation. I can't believe that otherwise intelligent people honestly believe that disarmament is the answer in the face of a ruthless and determined enemy such as this. I believe that they simply see an opportunity to advance their anti-freedom agenda and they do not care how many Americans die as a result. I know that you are better than this. I know that you will look at the truth and will consider measures we can take as a nation to better equip our nation to win this war.

I thank you for your efforts in standing up to this latest democratic power grab.
