The store owner told ABC13 this was the first time he's been broken into. The thieves made off with $20,000 worth of firearms.

In the story:
The gun store has cameras, tied to the alarm system. Apparently the window that was broken did not have alarms sensors on it, so the store does not have video of the suspects.
Sounds like it was just luck, on the part of the thieves, or someone knew exactly which window to use to gain entry. Of course it doesn't say whether or not, other windows, were equally, as vulnerable, but it does give rise to the possibility, of an inside job, or disgruntled ex-employee. JMHO

No motion sensors for the alarm inside?

a much more robust alarm system can be had for cheap. Glass break, motion detectors... It's very unfortunate that this place didn't have a better alarm. Hopefully some one else has video of these guys, or they left behind other evidence.GeekwithaGun wrote:No motion sensors for the alarm inside?

Sounds just a little suspicious. I can't imagine any gun stores these days not having extensive security systems with video surveillance.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Was this a very old store using ancient technology? I can't imagine having a camera system that doesn't run ALL the time.
